CSPA is proud to announce the addition of an exciting event for the 2020 season. Continuing with our mission to be the leader in Adjudication, Education, and Overall Excellence, we look to Education as our main initiative for the 2020 season.
CSPA will host our first annual Education Symposium at Mascoutah High School on February 1st. We hope to bring you every tool we can to get your season off to the right start. We plan to do this by focusing on 3 main disciplines to help early season.

Clinic
The first portion of this event will be structured to give students and instructors 1-on-1 time with the judging panel. Each ensemble will be allotted 20 minutes to perform and discuss their production. Ensembles’ students and staff will be able to interact with judges to better help programs early in the season. Each clinic will be open to the public similar to a typical performance so as to benefit all students and instructors alike.
Performance
After completion of the clinic portion of this event, each ensemble will return for a traditional formatted show with evaluation and scores in accordance with WGI rules & regulations.

Traditional Show with extended critique
This event will be structured in accordance with standard WGI rules & regulations. Critique will be extended to help further ensembles success. Instead of the traditional 3 minutes, ensembles will receive 5 minutes per adjudicator.
