CSPA is excited to announce the inclusion of Winter Guards to our family for the 2025 season.

Purpose

From our inception in 2018, CSPA’s purpose has been clear and unwavering. We are focused on quality education and advancing the performing arts throughout the central United States. While we began as an eager group of percussionists, our circle quickly grew to include Winds and our name changed to reflect our commitment as a Performance Association. The quality of our events continue to be raved on by educators and judges alike.

Our purpose with this initiative is to see what opportunities may exist to continue our commitment to advancing the performing arts in the central United States with our Winter Guard colleagues.

Offerings

We will host 2 events for this first season. Full CSPA schedule available here. Each event will use WGI sheets.

Jan. 25th we will host clinic based show. This event will be structured with an educational clinic in place of a prelims performance and then a traditional performance to follow. The educational clinic performance will offer you and your students the opportunity to work one-on-one with our clinicians and then receive traditional tapes later that day during a performance.

Mar. 1st we will host a traditional show in accordance with standard WGI rules & regulations. Critique will be guaranteed for all ensembles. Depending on number of units, we intend to host a prelims/finals format to ensure the most feedback possible for you and your unit.

Cost

Flat rate of $300 per show
